SELECTED PROJECT
AN OFFICE THAT BELIEVES THE STANDARDS OF A GROWING FIRM
The director of the KMCG firm wanted his new office to be a true place of work, transmission and representation.
THE NEED
The goal was to create a space capable of accommodating multiple users throughout the day: a team working, interns training, clients attending meetings, and a manager who needed a confidential space for discussions. The firm desired a refined, minimalist, and elegant atmosphere, reflecting the seriousness of its business, but without the coldness sometimes associated with accounting offices. Given the predominantly female team, the manager also wanted a touch of softness, without creating an overly stylized or stereotypical décor.
LEDILA'S RESPONSE
LEDILA designed the space around three priorities: improving collaboration, welcoming clients in optimal conditions, and projecting an image that better reflects the firm's growth. The layout distinguishes spaces according to their function while maintaining visual unity. Workstations promote collaboration, reception areas inspire confidence, and the executive office ensures the confidentiality necessary for discussions.
THE AESTHETIC BIAS
A palette of understated, warm colors structures the space: ivory, copper, white, black, and shades of wood. The lines remain clean, with functional furniture and an open flow of movement. The desired softness is not achieved through an abundance of so-called feminine colors. It appears more subtly in the materials, the warm lighting, certain rounded shapes, and a few carefully chosen decorative details.
THE DESIRED RESULT
To make KMCG's new office a professional space without being impersonal: structured enough to support daily work, welcoming enough to receive clients, and elegant enough to reflect the firm's new chapter.
